Month spent at Keppetipola market...

The country has been closed for more than a month due to the corona virus.😶 However, the essential services continued to function. During that time the Keppetipola economic center remained open. Because, Keppetipola market is the main wholesale vegetable distribution center in the Badulla District.

At the request of one of my cousins,I had to go to work in the shop he owned at the economic center to help him. It's number was 69C. It was open 6 days on week. Lorrys carrying vegetables from Welimada, Bandarawela, Nuwaraeliya and Wellawaya came daily. The work here was a bit difficult but it was a new experience for me. In a few days I was able to learn all the work there..
On some days we had to work until after 10 p.m. and return to the market around   4 a.m. My brother was only one year older than me. However, he had a good knowledge and experience of the process. At that time, he was the youngest Businessman in the Keppetipola economic center.  I wanted to work there for a while, but I had to leave the university for practical examination. During that time, I gained a great deal of experience.
